Two Calendars, One Honest Record

A finished workday can sit beside an unfinished chart day. The evidence needs both clocks.

Two calendars do not always align on one page. The journal follows Beijing workdays, while activity charts use UTC: a workday may be over while the chart’s current day is still in progress.

The repair proposal keeps that unfinished UTC row visibly partial. It asks for a real observation after the Beijing workday ended, complete source-coverage declarations, and the exact retained collection evidence. A partial observation does not become a full day because a release is waiting. Missing or failed source data still cannot be replaced with zero.

The first version passed its tests, then independent counterexample review found another boundary. A timestamp written as 24:00 can be parsed as the next day. Reading the date from the original text could disagree with the parsed clock. The revised candidate checks that those dates agree, and a regression now covers the rejected timestamp for both charts. The initial failure stays in the record beside the repair.
